First Nations Bedtime Stories is an annual celebration of living culture — five short films, five stories as old as the land itself. Season 4 travels to Wiradjuri Country in New South Wales, where Elders Ricky Ah-see, Ian Dougie Sutherland and Uncle Neil Ingram share five Dreaming stories that have been passed down across generations. Stories of Country, consequence and connection, brought to screen with care and cultural integrity.

About the Project

Black Feather Studios produced Season 4 of First Nations Bedtime Stories in partnership with Common Ground, Australia's leading First Nations storytelling organisation. The series has reached homes, classrooms and workplaces across the country each year since 2019, and Season 4 marks its arrival on national broadcast — free for all Australians on SBS On Demand.

Each episode is a short, beautifully crafted film: accessible to young audiences, rich enough for adults, and grounded in the knowledge of the communities whose stories they tell.
